English metalcore band and loud mouthed rockers Asking Alexandria are back with their second studio album titled ‘Reckless & Relentless’.

The five piece is made up of lead singer Danny Worsnop, lead guitarist Ben Bruce, rhythm guitarist Cameron Liddel, bassist Sam Bettley and drummer James Cassells.  ‘Reckless & Relentless’ incorporates the style of their debut album ‘Stand Up and Scream’ with a combination of a heavy metal and hardcore punk sound fused together with an experimental mix of electro/trance.  Front man Danny’s vocal range does not fail to impress in ‘Reckless and Relentless’ as the album includes a perfect blend of death metal growls, high pitched screams and melodic clean vocals. This combined with the loud guitars and drums and the intense breakdowns create a unique and dynamic sound.

The album features some notably heavier songs such as ‘Morte Et Dabo’ and ‘Breathless’ which are sure to get mosh pit lovers pumped. The album also includes ‘Someone, Somewhere’: a track which proves how versatile they are, as it does not include any screaming (a first for the band), filled only with Danny’s breath taking clean vocals and his raw emotion.  I cannot pick a favourite /favourites from the album as every song emphasises exactly why Asking Alexandria are amongst the best in the alternative music scene today.
Asking Alexandria have not disappointed with their latest musical masterpiece ‘Reckless & Relentless’ and they have definitely proved that they’re a band to watch out for.
